and Literary Facilitator

Homegrown in Westerville, Ohio, Alisha is a queer, neurodivergent poet and writer with a taste for honing her craft and building community.

Her autistic experience of the world is translated through her writing into immersive, imagery-rich stories that invite her reader to slow down with her and feel.

An experienced literary facilitator and panelist, Alisha is hellbent on building spaces where writers of all backgrounds and life circumstances can connect. Whether she’s facilitating the Poetry Corner Workshop at her local bookstore, or hosting the Poetry Snack Club in local Columbus parks, her spaces are built with intention outside academic gates so that curiosity, inclusivity, and the craft can actually thrive.

As an Otterbein University alum with a background in Visual Communications, she brings organized, thoughtful creative leadership to Central Ohio arts scene while working full time as an advertising project manager.
